Cross-country skiing Kasern

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING


Go cross-country skiing close by! You can reach the track on foot with a 15-minute walk or on board the free bus. The Sun-Trail Kasern is one of the most scenic cross-country skiing tracks of the valley. You can glide over the snow in three trail variants for different skill levels from easy to medium to difficult. They cover different ascents, descents and distances – the longest is 10 kilometers (around 6.2 miles) long. The variants can also be combined.

Alpine skiing Klausberg

ALPINE SKIING


One valley – one ski pass! With a single ski pass you can use all ski lifts in the skiing areas of Klausberg (13 km/8 miles away) and Speikboden (22 km/13.7 miles away). Both offer perfectly groomed pistes and state-of-the-art cable cars.
Right next to our house there’s a stop of the free bus service that brings you directly to the skiing areas.

Winter hiking Ahrntal

WINTER HIKING


Winter hiking – in sync with your own rhythm. You can take a leisurely stroll through the snow from Kasern to Heilig Geist or you can choose a more demanding route, even a day trip to one of the alpine huts up in the mountains. Enjoy the uniquely beautiful and pristine winter landscape of this secluded part of the Ahrntal valley. A 15-minute walk or the free bus service bring you to the starting point of your hike.

SLEDDING


Sledding is at its best if you enjoy it with your family or friends. For toddlers and young children there’s plenty of fun to be had in the vicinity of your apartment. For more challenging sledding adventures we recommend one of the many sledding pistes of the valley. Along the way you will find alpine huts where you can rest and try the local cuisine.
